It’s a good time to be a Batterymouth fan, because we’ve got two really fun shows coming up. On Saturday, June 27 we’re going to be in the great state of Minnesota for the Twin Cities Improv Festival. We’re going to be performing at 7:00pm along with local group Five Man Job. So, if you live out in that area or you feel like taking a trip to Minneapolis, get your tickets and we’ll see you out there. This is our first festival performance and we’ve heard that TCIF is a lot of fun, so we’re really looking forward to it.
For all of you Chicagoans out there, we also have a show coming up on Tuesday, June 30 at The Playground. The show kicks off at 8:00pm and we’re going to be performing with The Hamiltons, Stranger for a Day and The Rabble. That’s right, four improv teams in total! Try to wrap your head around that. So, if you can’t make it out to TCIF, be sure to catch us here at home.

That’s right. The cupcakes are coming. And they’re playing for keeps. They want nothing short of complete confectionery dominance and they won’t stop until they’re the last sweet standing. They. Won’t. Stop.
Don’t believe me? Let me guess, you’re thinking to yourself, “Cupcakes have been comfortable with their place in the dessert hierarchy for decades. They wouldn’t possibly strike out against another sugary baked good to gain supremacy.”
Oh yeah? Tell that to the brownies!
BAM! Back in 2007 the cupcakes conquered the brownies for Google dominance AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE! The cupcakes are stealthy. They’re like frosted ninjas. Have you ever heard about what happens to you when you get attacked by a frosted ninja? Of course you haven’t, because everone who has been attacked by a frosted ninja is dead. Deliciously, deliciously dead.
So, beware! Hide your pies, hide your cookies, hide your muffins (oh no, too late!), because the cupcakes are coming and your precious sweets may be next. You’ve been warned…
